Hailstone 2x8, Sample

The texture is exactly what I hoped for—gritty but smooth enough to run a finger across without snagging. The color depth in this sample is surprisingly rich for such a small piece, and it makes me feel way more confident about ordering the full run.

I was surprised by how substantial this sample feels in hand—the cement has a nice weight and the texture is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s already helped me narrow down my color choices for the backsplash.

Holding this sample up to different light throughout the day, the subtle variations in the handcrafted surface really show. The texture has a nice, authentic feel that’s hard to capture in photos.
