Nagano 2x8, Sample

I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial this ceramic sample feels—it’s heavier than I expected, which gives me confidence in its quality. The glaze has a nice, subtle variation that makes it look truly handcrafted.

The hand-painted look is so much more textured in person than what the website photos show. I was surprised by how heavy and substantial this little tile feels for its size.

The color variation in this sample is exactly what I was hoping for—each tiny tile has its own subtle character. It’s nice to actually feel the handmade texture and see how it catches the light before deciding on a larger order.
