River Aubergine + Tyrian 8x8, Sample

The color depth on this little tile is stunning—the aubergine shifts to a dark purple depending on the light. It's a solid, weighty sample that gives me a true sense of the real tile’s finish.

Even just this small sample tile shows off the rich, layered purple tones beautifully. I held it under different lights and the aubergine shifts subtly, which is exactly what I was hoping for in a handmade cement tile.

The color depth is stunning—the aubergine is richer than I imagined from photos, and the Tyrian blue adds a beautiful contrast. Even as a small sample, the handcrafted texture feels substantial and well-made. I’m already planning my full order.
