Valverde Dreieck, Probe

I was really curious how the tile sample would look next to my existing flooring, and the matte finish is exactly what I hoped for. The triangular shape feels substantial and well-made.

The terracotta color is much richer in person than it appeared on screen, which is exactly why I wanted a sample. Holding it, you can feel the handmade quality and slight unevenness that gives cotto its character. Now I'm confident this is the right tone for my kitchen backsplash.

The triangle shape makes it easy to visualize how the pieces will interlock for a pattern, and the surface has that authentic, slightly rugged handcrafted feel I was hoping for. It’s a small sample, but it’s enough to tell the color will work with my warm-toned kitchen.
