Aegean Hex, Échantillon

The hexagon shape is what sold me — it gives the classic zellige look a more modern edge than the usual squares. The glaze has that subtle handcrafted unevenness you can actually see and feel, so I know exactly what to expect for my backsplash.

This sample tile has a really satisfying handcrafted feel, with slight variations in the glaze that make it feel authentic. The hexagonal shape is crisp and the color is a calming sea-glass blue. It’s exactly what I needed to confirm my choice before ordering in bulk.

The subtle blue-green hue in the sample tile shifts beautifully under different lighting, making it feel more dynamic than a flat color. Even as just a small piece, the handmade glaze has a lovely depth that convinced us to order more for the backsplash.
