Tornillo + Adobe, Échantillon

I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this sample tile—it feels substantial and well-made. The subtle texture on the surface gives it an authentic, handcrafted look that photos just don't capture. Definitely helped me commit to my full order.

The color variation across this single tile is beautiful, with rich earthy tones that shift in different light. It's heavier and more substantial than I expected, which gives me confidence in its quality for my kitchen backsplash. Just wish the sample was a bit larger to truly test grout colors.

I was hesitant to order a tile sample online, but this one’s weight and slight unevenness in color make it feel authentically old-world. It’s perfect for seeing exactly how the cotto finish will look next to my wood floors.
