Grigio Carnico 5/8

I was a little worried the small 5/8 size would be tedious to install, but the pieces fit together so cleanly that it was actually a breeze. The grey marble look has a nice, subtle variation that makes the backsplash feel way more expensive than it was.

The small 5/8 format was exactly what I needed for a herringbone border, and the grey marble look adds a subtle texture that photos don't quite capture. The unglazed finish feels substantial underfoot, and the pieces fit snugly without too much lippage. I've already ordered more for a second accent

The unglazed surface gives these grey marble mosaics a matte, authentic feel that photographs beautifully. I used them as an accent strip in my backsplash and the 5/8 size made the pattern work without being overwhelming.
