Cosmic Black 1x1, Sample

I was nervous about ordering tile samples online, but the glaze on this little one-inch square is so flawlessly smooth and uniformly dark that it instantly won me over. It feels heavier and more substantial than I expected for such a tiny piece, which makes me confident about ordering the full batch

I was a little skeptical about a 1-inch tile, but the ceramic feels substantial and the solid black glaze is exactly what our backsplash needed. It's heavier than it looks, and laying them out creates a really crisp, graphic look.

The glaze is so deep and even in person—almost like polished obsidian, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Even at just one inch, you can feel the handcrafted quality in the weight and finish.
