カラーラ＋ネロ・マルキーナのルッカ

The honed finish gives it such a soft, almost silky feel underfoot that you don’t expect from marble. I’ve had guests ask if it’s real stone because the pattern between the Carrara and Nero Marquina flows so naturally.

I was nervous about mixing light and dark marble, but the pattern in these tiles ties the two together perfectly without feeling busy. The honed surface is smooth to the touch and doesn't show every little smudge.

The honed finish gives it a soft, almost matte feel under your fingers, and the mix of the bright Carrara with those sharp black Nero Marquina veins creates exactly the dramatic contrast I was hoping for. Every tile in the batch had a consistent pattern that made laying them out a pleasure.
