I was a bit worried about mixing this shape with standard squares, but the precision of the handmade edges makes it all lock together seamlessly. The warm, earthy color of the clay is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen backsplash.

The triangular shape fits together so perfectly that the grout lines almost disappear, and the clay has a warm, earthy feel underfoot. I’ve been looking for tile with real handmade character, and these deliver without being fragile.

The color depth on these triangular cotto pieces is exactly what I was hoping for—it shifts from warm amber to deeper rust depending on the light. They’re handmade, so a few edges have that charming irregularity you just don’t get with machine-cut tile.
