Savanna 4x4

The subtle color variations across these 4x4 squares give my backsplash so much more depth than plain tile would. I love how each piece catches the light a little differently thanks to the handmade glaze. It was worth waiting for the extra character you can't get from mass-produced tile.

The handmade character really shows in the slight variation of glaze across the surface—each tile feels unique. I’m using them as a backsplash and the 4x4 square is surprisingly versatile for creating a geometric pattern. Very happy with how they turned out.

The 4x4 square format fits perfectly into my mosaic layout, and each tile’s slight variation in surface makes the whole wall feel alive. It’s exactly the kind of authentic, handcrafted look I was chasing, and the size makes it easy to work with even for a first-time tiler.
