Cypress 1x1

I was worried such a small tile might look busy, but the compact 1x1 format creates a beautiful, intricate texture across the wall. It's been surprisingly easy to work with for tight corners and detailed patterns.

Tiny squares like these usually read as busy, but the compact 1x1 format here laid out in a herringbone pattern looks surprisingly clean and modern. The glazed surface catches the light just enough to give the wall depth without feeling shiny.

The subtle variation in the glaze across these tiny squares gives my backsplash a handmade, organic feel that mass-produced tiles just can't match. They were surprisingly easy to work with for such a small format, and the matte finish hides fingerprints well.
