Gambit 1, Sample

The hand-cut edges are exactly what I hoped for—you can see the artisan character in every side. It's the perfect way to test how the glaze catches light before I order for the backsplash.

The sample tile’s glossy finish catches the light nicely, and it’s heavier than I expected for a test piece. Exactly what I needed to see the color in my kitchen before ordering the full batch.

The color variation in this sample is what sold me—it’s got that authentic, slightly uneven glaze that photos never quite capture. It’s smaller than I pictured for a tile sample, but that’s on me for not checking dimensions.
