Pompeii 2x8, Sample

The sample arrived quickly and the 2x8 size is perfect for seeing the actual color and texture. I held it up to my kitchen wall and it matches the online photos exactly, which is a relief.

I was a bit worried about the color from photos, but this sample shows the subtle variations in the cement finish perfectly. It's heavier and more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence in the full tile.

The 2x8 size is perfect for seeing how the color and texture work in my kitchen light before committing to a full order. Weighing it in my hand made the thickness feel substantial too, which put my mind at ease about durability.
