Carrara 5/8

The unglazed finish gives these mosaic tiles a really authentic, old-world texture that stands out from typical glossier marble. I used them for a bathroom backsplash detail, and the small Carrara pieces laid perfectly together.

I was nervous about installing these myself, but the small 5/8 size made it surprisingly easy to lay out intricate patterns. The unglazed finish gives it a natural stone feel that looks way more expensive than it is.

The tiny 5/8-inch tiles made laying out a detailed herringbone pattern surprisingly easy, and the matte white surface catches the light just right. Even up close, the unglazed finish feels natural and stone-like, not plasticky at all.
