Scarpa in Bardiglio Imperiale

The handcrafted edges give this tile a subtle texture that catches the light beautifully. I placed it next to a plain Carrara sample and the difference in character is night and day. Exactly what I needed to elevate my kitchen backsplash.

I was worried the marble might feel too cold or sterile, but the Scarpa tile’s handcrafted surface gives it a warm, organic texture that photographs beautifully. Even as a sample, you can feel the quality and subtle character in the veining.

Ordered this sample to check the color in person, and the grey veining has way more depth than the photos suggest. It feels like a proper honed marble, not a glossy print, so I'm leaning toward using it for a small backsplash.
