Superior Blue 4x4, Sample

I held this sample up to the light and the subtle hand-painted glaze variations really pop, giving it a lot more character than plain blue tile. It’s just the right size to test against my kitchen backsplash.

The four-by-four size is perfect for getting a real sense of the tile's texture, and the surface has that lovely handmade irregularity you want from zellige. It arrived quickly and well-packaged, though I wish the sample had a more finished edge to judge grout lines with.

The blue color has a beautiful depth and subtle variation that photos online just can't capture. I only wish the sample tile came with a bit more info on grout recommendations for the full line.
