Tornillo + 마데라

The warm brown tone is exactly what I was hoping for, and it looks even richer installed in our entryway. We laid it outside on the patio too, and the solid cotto texture feels sturdy underfoot. Perfectly imperfect handcrafted pieces give it that old-world character I wanted.

I was a bit worried the unglazed surface might stain easily, but after a month of foot traffic and spills, it still looks as good as new. The handcrafted feel really comes through in the subtle texture—it's not perfectly uniform, which I love. Definitely a solid choice for the patio.

The warm brown color is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen backsplash, and the unglazed surface gives it that authentic handmade feel. It’s held up well to daily cooking splatters.
