Buckeye + Flat

The brown glaze has this lovely depth that shifts in different light, and the slight unevenness from the handmade process gives each tile real character. I installed them as a backsplash accent and the earthy tone warms up the whole kitchen.

The rectangular format lays flatter than I expected for a handmade tile, and the brown colorway shifts nicely in afternoon light. It’s got that subtle unevenness you want from a ceramic piece without being too rustic.

The rectangular flat shape gives such a clean, modern line, and the brown colorway is even richer in person than on screen. I’m really glad I went with these ceramic tiles for the kitchen backsplash, the handmade texture makes them feel special.
