Gambit 8, Sample

The surface has an uneven, handcrafted texture that feels much more authentic than mass-produced tiles. It arrived well-packaged and intact, which was a relief for a sample. I held it up to natural light and the glaze really shifts depending on the angle.

The handmade feel really comes through in the irregular edges and slight variations across the surface. Laying it next to my other tile options, the depth of color is noticeably richer. This sample gave me exactly the confidence I needed to proceed with my kitchen backsplash.

The color depth is impressive in person—much richer than what I saw on screen. I'm glad I ordered the sample before committing, though I wish it came with a suggested grout pairing. It's a solid way to check quality and texture.
