Geglazuurde aarde + Casablanca dambord, monster

I was curious how the two glazes would look next to each other, and this sample made it so easy to see. The Casablanca tiles have a lovely uneven edge that pairs beautifully with the smooth Glazed Earth ones.

The glazed finish on the Earth tiles has a subtle sheen that makes the checkerboard pattern feel more dynamic than I expected. Holding these two samples side by side really helped me see how the matte Casablanca tiles ground the glossy ones. Exactly what I needed to confirm my design choice.

I was worried the two colors might clash, but the matte and glossy tiles actually complement each other perfectly. Seeing the subtle texture differences in person really helped me decide on my kitchen backsplash. This sample is exactly what I needed to visualize the final look.
