Marmot 1x1, Sample

The sample tile’s glass surface catches light in a warm, honeyed way that looks richer than the online photos suggested. It’s a nice touch that the sample size is large enough to hold up against a wall and really judge the color.

The sample arrived quickly and the glass mosaic’s surface has that subtle, irregular shimmer you don’t get from photos—it catches light differently at every angle. I held it up against my kitchen backsplash and the color held true in both natural and warm lighting, which sealed the deal for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how the glass reflects light in different ways depending on the angle. It’s small but gives a good sense of the color and texture for planning my backsplash.
