Rouge + Terra Rosa + Desert Bloom Schaakbord, Monster

I was pleasantly surprised by how the checkerboard pattern shifts depending on the lighting—the Rouge and Desert Bloom really pop against the Terra Rosa. It's a great way to see the handmade texture and color variation before committing to a full order.

The three colors together create a much warmer, more dynamic look than I expected from a sample tile. It's nice to see how the handmade variations in the glaze give each square its own character, even in this small piece.

Honestly, the checkerboard mix of Rouge, Terra Rosa, and Desert Bloom is even more striking in person—the handmade variations make each sample tile feel unique. I’m glad I ordered the sample before committing, because the subtle color shifts really do change with the light.
