Savanna 4x4, Sample

I was surprised by how much the color shifts depending on the light—it goes from sandy tan to a warm ochre. The 4x4 size is perfect for getting a real sense of the tile’s texture and finish.

The subtle variation in glaze across this 4x4 sample gives it a depth that photos just don’t capture. I held it up against my cabinet color and can already picture how the handmade edges will add texture to the backsplash.

The handmade character of this tile really comes through — you can see subtle variations in the glaze and tiny irregularities along the edges that make it feel authentic. Just holding the sample, the surface has a nice matte texture that catches the light differently from every angle.
