The glossy finish picks up so much light for such a deep brown shade, really makes the narrow 2x8 format pop in our kitchen backsplash. Each tile has that handmade variation you can feel with your fingers, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Installed these in our entryway and the deep brown color adds such warmth. The narrow 2x8 size was surprisingly easy to lay in a herringbone pattern.

The glossy finish catches the light beautifully, though I noticed the deep brown reads almost black in dimmer kitchen corners. They handled the grout cleaning easily during install, which was a relief with the narrow 2x8 format.
