4x4 Square + Oscura, Sample

Finally got my sample and the subtle variation in color between the 4x4 square and the hexagon is even nicer in person. The matte finish feels really substantial and weighty, not like a cheap tile. This is exactly the earthy, handcrafted look I was hoping for in my kitchen.

I've been staring at this sample for days—the surface has a subtle, almost gritty texture that catches the light differently depending on the angle. It feels more substantial than I expected from a sample piece, and the matte finish looks exactly like what I need for our kitchen backsplash.

The sample tile arrived quickly and the color is exactly what I hoped—that warm, earthy terracotta tone with a subtle variation in the finish. Seeing the real surface texture in person makes it so much easier to picture in our kitchen.
