Damascus 1x1

The color depth on these little squares is amazing—each tile has subtle variations that catch the light. I used them for a backsplash detail and the tiny format made the pattern pop perfectly.

The 1x1 format laid down so cleanly that even my curved corner cuts ended up looking sharp. I started with a small backsplash, but the depth in this glass made me go back and order more for the shower niche.

The tiny square size is perfect for the intricate geometric pattern I was trying to create, and the glass has a nice depth that catches the light. It took a little patience to install, but the final look was absolutely worth the effort.
