Mesa 12x24

The texture on this cantera is unreal, like the surface of a lava rock that's been smoothed down over centuries. Used it as a backsplash in my kitchen and the charcoal tones pick up light differently throughout the day. Cut clean too, barely any chipping on the edges.

I was worried the natural volcanic stone would look too rough in my kitchen, but the honed finish on these tiles is surprisingly smooth and the charcoal tone has real depth. Every 12x24 piece has slightly different veining, so the backsplash reads like actual quarry stone instead of a printed copy.

The subtle variations in the stone's color give each tile a unique character, and it feels surprisingly lightweight for natural rock. I love how it connects to ancient Aztec craftsmanship—really adds depth to our patio design.
