Slate Grey 2x6, Sample

The slate grey shade has way more depth in person than on screen—almost a smoky blue undertone that shifts in different light. Even as a sample, the handmade texture and slight unevenness make it feel authentic to the Zellige style.

The 2x6 rectangular shape is perfect for getting a feel for the grout lines in a subway pattern. Even as a sample, the slate grey color has a subtle, natural variation that feels authentic.

I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of color in this slate grey sample—it's much richer in person than on screen. The matte surface feels smooth and substantial, exactly what I needed to confirm before ordering the full batch for our backsplash.
