Valverde 4x8 Rectangle, Sample

I needed to see the actual color and texture against my countertop, and this sample was perfect for that. The slight variation in the glaze from tile to tile gives it that handmade look I was after. Exactly what I needed to make up my mind.

The sample tile has a nice matte finish and the color is deeper in person than I expected from the photos. It’s a solid way to check the shade before ordering a full batch.

I was surprised by how heavy and substantial this 4x8 tile sample feels in hand, much more solid than the cheaper options I've seen. The surface has a nice, subtle texture that catches light differently at each angle.
