Carbon Black 2x2, Sample

The glossy, almost charcoal finish feels heavier and more substantial than I expected from a single sample tile. It's perfect for seeing how the deep black will look against my white grout choices.

Even in this tiny 2x2 sample, the carbon black color has so much depth—it shifts between matte black and a faint charcoal sheen depending on the light. The slightly uneven surface feels authentic to real Zellige, and it’s enough to trust how it’ll look on a full wall.

The hand-pressed texture on this sample has tiny, subtle variations that catch the light beautifully. It’s darker than I expected in person, which is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen backsplash.
