Citron 2x4

Finished tiling our backsplash this weekend and the matte finish on these tiles makes the yellow look rich without being glossy or overpowering. The high-fired ceramic feels incredibly dense and solid when you handle it.

The matte finish catches light in a way that makes the whole wall feel softer, and the high-fired clay gives it a solid, almost stone-like weight. I keep running my hand along the edge just to feel how smooth and clean the cut is.

I installed these in my kitchen backsplash and the high-fired ceramic feels incredibly durable. The subtle variations in the yellow hue keep it from looking flat.
