Nagano 4x4, Sample

The 4x4 sample is the perfect size to hold up against my kitchen cabinets and count the color in the morning light. The ceramic surface has a smooth, matte finish that feels substantial for a tile this small. I've already ordered the full batch for my backsplash.

The glaze on this sample has a lovely, slightly uneven depth that I didn't expect from the photos. It’s heavy enough to feel substantial in hand, and the matte finish is exactly what I was hoping for.

The 4x4 size is perfect for checking how the glaze catches light without committing to a full order. It's got that handmade depth that makes me want to redo my entire backsplash now.
