Purple Iris 2x2, Sample

I grabbed this 2x2 sample just to check the color in my kitchen light, and the uneven glaze really does catch the light differently depending on the angle. It's a small piece but it gives you a true sense of how the purple shifts, which sold me on ordering the full batch.

The purple color is much richer and more dimensional in person than I expected from the photos online. The small 2x2 sample is perfect to hold against my countertop to see how the light catches the subtle glaze variations.

Holding this small sample up to different lights changed the purple completely. The handmade glaze has visible variations that make me confident this will look dimensional in a full backsplash. Already planning my order.
