Sumac 4x4

The handmade character really shines on these tiles—each one has its own subtle variation in texture and glaze. I used them for a bathroom accent wall and the matte finish catches the light beautifully without being too shiny.

Installed these in our kitchen backsplash and the way the light catches the handmade surface gives such depth. Each tile has its own tiny character, which makes the whole wall feel alive. The 4x4 size was perfect for our layout.

I was a little worried the handcrafted look might be too irregular, but the variation in glaze depth across these 4x4 squares adds such beautiful character to my kitchen backsplash. They catch the light differently from every angle.
