Tidepool 2x2, Sample

I was so relieved to finally see the Tidepool color in person—the subtle variations in the glaze are exactly what I hoped for. The 2x2 sample size is perfect for holding up against my other materials to check the contrast.

The color shifts beautifully in different lighting, going from a deep blue-green to almost teal. This little 2x2 sample was perfect for holding up against my countertop to check the undertones.

The texture on this sample is what sold me—it’s got that handmade, slightly uneven glaze that catches the light beautifully. I’ve been staring at it on my counter all week and the deep teal shifts between almost navy and a soft sea green depending on the time of day.
