Tornillo + オスキュラ、サンプル

I was really impressed by how the rich, earthy color of this sample tile shifts in different lighting. The traditional Cotto technique gives it a depth that photos just can’t capture.

The handcrafted texture is noticeably uneven in a beautiful way, exactly what I wanted to see for a real Cotto floor. Holding it up to the light, the clay body shows subtle variations that photos never capture.

I was curious how the traditional Cotto technique would look in person, and the rich, uneven color variation on this sample is even better than the photos. It’s small but gives a real feel for the tile’s handmade character.
