Zocalo + Adobe, Monster

The color is exactly what I hoped for when I ordered the Zocalo + Adobe sample — rich, earthy, and warm. It's a solid, thick piece of cotto that gives me a good sense of how the real tile will feel underfoot before I commit to a full order.

I placed it next to my existing tiles and the warm earthy tone is exactly what I needed to match the terracotta accents in my kitchen. The sample tile feels sturdy and the matte finish hides dust nicely.

The matte clay surface feels exactly like real handmade tile—you can see the subtle color variation in the Adobe tone right on this small sample. It’s a clever way to check the material before spending on a full order, and I’m glad I took the time to do it.
